Double Standards – We can’t say too much regarding Nicola Sturgeon and the ongoing investigation into SNP Finances for fear of the State Police of Scotland showing up at our door with an arrest warrant from Lady Dorian, and there will be a billion words written today about this case from many people and the ones that the Scottish Courts approve of which is not new media but what I do feel confident in saying is that there is a serious issue with double standards within the British SNP when it comes to what constitutes enough to be suspended from the party or not.

Now the opposition calling for the SNP to suspend the Murrells is just point-scoring and petty when it comes from them, however, the members would have a right, if they so wish, to demand it given people have been suspended for far less. Personally, I don’t care all that much what the party does, but while Yousaf may be in a lose-lose situation, and the SNP fanzine The National will call for the party to support Sturgeon, by not suspending the Murrells Yousaf will look even weaker than he already does in the eyes of the wider voting public.

It started well – but then went downhill very quickly. Humza Yousaf actually said some things that I agreed with, he was correct to say that,

“At the moment, for example, it’s pretty obvious that independence is not the consistent, settled will of the Scottish people.”

I agree, I think that fact is down to the incompetence of the British SNP and stupidity of Scottish voters but it is hard to disagree with that comment.

Mr. Yousaf also said the SNP could “make life very difficult” for Labour after the next general election if Sir Keir Starmer does not cooperate with it.

Goes without saying, shouldn’t even need saying really, the job of the opposition is to make life difficult for the Government of the day, to scrutinize, to offer alternatives, to hold to account, again not something the British SNP have a good recent history of with the current Tory Government but we can live in hope.

And then the loser that is Humza Yousaf takes hold when he says,

The SNP leader also said he has spoken to former first minister Nicola Sturgeon. He continued: “Why would I not want to get some advice from arguably one of the best politicians, the most impressive politicians, Europe has seen over the last couple of decades?”

Sturgeon is a failure in every way, why on earth would anyone take any sort of strategic advice from this former First Minister is beyond me, so from thinking is Yousaf wakening up to seeing that nah, he is just weak and set to fail as we all suspect he will. Sturgeon best politician in decades, can I have some of what Yousaf’s drinking, please.

Talking Pish – I know I do but I’m not talking about me I am talking about the Governor General of Scotland the colony Alistair Jack, Jack says that

“Our recent report shows that Scotland benefits hugely from the scale and reach of the UK Government’s international engagement and influence.

“From international security to trade and culture, the UK Government’s international departments and agencies are securing the interest of all parts of the United Kingdom.

Absolute pish, Scotland the colony with record levels of child poverty, hunger, high unemployment, addiction, and poor life expectancy, benefits England and London in every way but receives nothing but misery in return but there will be people out there who believe this crap. The selfish bastards who do alright having been bought and sold, or colonized to the extent that Jockholme Syndrome is a way of life for them now.

Our colonizer goes on to say,

“The UK’s permanent membership of the UN Security Council and our leading position in Nato, the G7, the G20, and other global organisations enable us to make progress on the vital issues that matter to everyone in the UK – including Ukraine, climate change and human rights.

I know you can’t make it up. No one gives a shit what the UK thinks, you can’t be thrown off the security council, if you could the UK would have been ditched years ago and what are the Tories doing. Promoting the war in Ukraine because they have been told to by the USA, rolling back environmental protections to the extent that we mine coal again to greater degrees, and they abandoned human rights a long time ago, shit we don’t even have that many human rights in our colony that a Tory would respect. These people are just playing games with their delusion and we accept it like the slaves we are.

He was just a unionist like the rest of them – I will admit to having some time for Jeremy Corbyn when he became Labour Leader. I agreed with some of his policies and agreed with much of what he had to say, but then it turned out he was just as much a colonizing unionist as the rest of them.

While he is celebrating 40 years as an MP I can’t forget when he said

to an audience of Scottish Labour MSPs and activists in Glasgow that independence would be a serious mistake, and would lead to “turbocharged austerity and a glaring hole in the money required to fund essential services”.  He said its best option was to fight for overall reforms of the UK economy and constitution.

When asked this week if Britain was a democracy Corbyn said

“No, it’s not. Our parliamentary system is ineffective at controlling the executive.

No Jeremy Britain is not a democracy, and you were happy for Scotland to remain a colony. Labour, no matter if they are left like Corbyn, or Tory like Starmer, are all unionists and colonizers to the core so voters in Scotland better think long and hard before voting for these people, it might actually kill off independence for good.

    I’d vote for Jeremy……………if I was English and lived in England……..but I’m not so, I won’t. Ever.
I’m guilty of singing along to the Jack White inspired Jeremy chant, loved it. England fell for the Jeremy anti semitism pap instead. Oh well.

Your right Grumpy, you can’t trust anything to do with the English establishment. England is under it’s spell, so are we. One day we’ll break it. We’ll have to break the SNP delirium first, then we will be on our way.

Tricky Nicky would be up in front of an Independent, decolonising Scottish Court on that day, defending her Scottish citizenship, charged with treason against the Scottish people and it’s lands.

That’s got to be a better ending than a lot of Stephen King endings, excepting The Shawshank Redemption of course.

The state of England should have been telling enough Scots the narrative since Thatcher in 79. At least we eventually found out the Labour grifters but we cannot spend the same amount of time to do the same with the SNP. England is a right wing, low state, neo-liberal colonizer now and that is not going to change. If we truly want a left wing, or my preference a socially liberal Scotland then we better get our fingers out and start acting like it. The betrayal of the unionists in the SNP should never be forgiven though and they have to pay for us to move forward and learn another hard lesson that we cannot trust the politicians.

Sturgeon should be made to resign and so should Murrell but Humza who slipped under the radar by the aid of the British security services fixing the election should be made to resign along with the Britnat cabal at the top of the SNP. This is all just theatre to save their rotten corupt Zombie Union. I bet the SNP wont join the AUOB approach to the next election. The game is to lose seats to Labour so they can gerrymander a new constitution together claiming a mandate. They will stich us up that we wont be able to escape from their coercive Zombie Union. Devo Max the legislation of colonial control.

I agree she should be suspended, Chris Law (my MP) sadly coming out and saying he wasn’t suspended when he was investigated is not the point, he should have been as well. The double standards are a terrible look for Yousaf and the party. They have been in power too long, have zero talent pretty much anymore, and even less policy. They need to go end of and they only have themselves to blame for their betrayal of the independence cause. They are a unionist and devolution party now, they can rot in hell for all I care now, I just want them gone.

Yes, it’s sad about Jeremy Corbyn. There was so much he wanted to do that was right, but he never understood Scotland and he wanted Brexit.
Yousaf though is an idiot. He has a tendency to open his mouth and spout forth without thinking of the consequences. His support for Sturgeon will be the end of him. That said, I still reckon Sturgeon and her husband will get away with it all. I will be very happy if I’m wrong.

    • CapnAndy

I suspect Sturgeon will get away with it and at worst someone will get a fine for poor accounting or some such. Yousaf is a devolutionist who is out of his depth, he has been set up as the patsy so someone like Angus Robertson can swan in after the next GE. A typical Labour/Tory ploy we know.
