Does any of that ring a bell, it should because we are back there today, the latest Thatcher love children, so full of hate for services that were fought for by our grandparents, are following the agenda. Run down services with a lack of funding to the extent they fail, refuse to talk to the unions while blaming them for the mess the scumbag Tories made, bring in new anti-union legislation, and blame the workers for being lazy and greedy. All the while using the media to keep Labour anti-union and afraid to stand up for the people they are pretending to represent.
Be under no illusion things are going to get worse, a lot worse. The only way to save the Scottish NHS, Scottish public services is independence. The SNP won’t deliver it but we had better be damned ready to stand up and fight for it soon or there will be nothing left to fight for, it will all have been stolen from us and sold off to Tory friends, or to the fear and incompetence of the SNP as they have shown with renewables.

I know this is a Scottish blog, but in my view, the issue is whether and when there will be a tipping point in the UK.
Will English people abandon their NHS workers and other strikers, watch their loved ones die on floors (at home after a fall/stroke/heart attack because no ambulance comes in time or in hospital because there are no beds), be content to fall into destitution etc or resist Tory policies?
Either Westminster govt will prevail or it won’t

Certainly from listening to the radio like LBC certain presenters are doing their best to get the public to turn in England, of course you get some phoning in and falling for the bullshit. Some people don’t get that the strikes are not about money only but about our vital services, but there are the right-wing mentalists who are not just populists but fascists as far as I can tell. It so important we stick with the strikers. I voted to strike at my work but then a 3% deal was accepted which I reluctantly accepted as it gave the lowest paid the biggest rise in their salary and took them to a living wage even though I basically had another pay cut of around 7% yet again. The Tories are just waiting for their moment thought that I am certain about and the impact on Scotland will be huge by way of our pocket money.

You know the game only too well Grumpy, the problem is, way too many people in Scotland do not. They don’t see how privatisation is designed to put money into shareholders pockets. They fail to see that their country is being plundered, Scotland and England are both being plundered. This picture isn’t being made clear to people.
Independence isn’t just a wee change or a protest vote or just desirable………………..it’s a fucking necessity, and we need to deliver it a.s.a.p.
English state capitalism is discharging raw sewage into english waterways, it’ll end up on all our river banks and shores. What kind of governance do you call that?

100% agree with you, who in their right mind would want to live in England, they are being shafted left, right, and center and are even more stupid than the carrot eaters up here but I am glad I live up here even with the woke incompetent SNP under Sturgeon. People better wake up soon though before it is too late and it has all been stolen from us, or our pocket money is not enough to buy a box of family circle next Christmas. The Scottish NHS they can just starve of funds through Barnett so I think they will be happy to just watch the slow decline, Scottish Water they will go for soon I think under some national this or that bullshit but mainly because they can’t steal any more Welsh water without the welsh dying of thirst so we are next for sure.
