So that banner appeared in Stirling yesterday
As usual we have the good and perfect of the SNP having their say with their faux outrage.
Now we know that there are Conservative voters for independence and they are welcome but this banner, for me , is about the Tory Party. Any party that instigates policy that kills 200,000 people, that drives millions into poverty, that has food banks as its largest growth industry are scum and that is just a fact.
A banner won’t stop one single person voting yes, if it did they were never yes anyway. The argument that it brings down the yes movement is just bollocks. What damages the movement is things like Mhairi Black trying to ridicule women who happen to take their personal space and safety seriously as pointed out by Wings the other day.
Mhairi Black and Mhairi Hunter being some of those who think they are always right and the conscience of the yes movement. There are many others, we all know them. We also get Tories like Perth Kirstene Hair MSP expressing their outrage
But they never comment when their soon to be leader Boris Johnson makes comments like the one below reported by Glen Campbell
A couple of his other gems
Doesn’t matter we actually pay tax for the services we receive and where was Hairs outrage at the banner below from Manchester recently.
In 2014 independence was put to the voters as a utopia, a huge mistake as I’ve said before and better together scared old people, no outrage there.
I wish the good and great of the yes movement would just give it a rest, you do more to put people off of yes than any bloody banner does. Their mantra is fall in line with the SNP and do what your told. They are the ones who lose another referendum again if they don’t both grow up and grow a pair.
