Scraping the Barrel

So a former Labour (Tory MP) who left to join the Tory off shoot Change U.K., left that Tory Party to be welcomed into another Tory Party The Fiberal Democrat’s, given its the party of Jo Swinson he will fit right in.

Chuka Umunna is everything I hate about politicians. Like Ruth Davidson he is an opportunist of the worst kind. He has no morals or beliefs but you have to laugh when he says

Change U.K. a major party and he’s not a careerist lol. Vince Cable has said Umunna

Deluded or what. The Liberals really are desperate and lacking in self awareness if they believe this charlatan is a serious and formidable politician. Umunna is just desperate for somewhere to sit and milk the system until Labour voters get the chance to get their revenge and dump him as their MP.

The only thing that Chuka Umunna believes in is his ego, and sense of self worth. He thought he would ride to the top of Labour and when he didn’t he spit the dummy out, he then though I’ll form a new party that will attract centrist Labour MPs and Liberals but only attracted his fellow Tories, and when he didn’t get to lead the party up and left to join the yellow Tories. I despise people like Chuka Umunna, they are exactly the reason the U.K. is on its knees.

Surely his Labour voters can put up a row for his change to Lib-Dems? Take it to an English solicitor and make Chucker pay the consequential price.

Seenair He should have stood down and called a bye election. Unionists have zero principles and sadly it seems to be politics we have to endure. Our politics is so broken and it’s down to people like this clown.

The Lib Dems are a necessary evil right now for the UK. To do the most damage to the Tories, they have to concentrate on harvesting Conservative-Remain voters. That strategy becomes more effective if the Tories end up committing to no-deal. There’s no point the Lib Dems going after the centre-left, because that volume is solidly occupied by Labour and they’d be competing with the Greens for those votes as well.

If we’re going to see a snap election before October, then it’ll be due to a handful of Tory MPs bringing down their own government. The Lib Dems could provide a viable home for those defectors, especially if they’re also holding Tory-Lib Dem marginal seats(of which there are at least 30).

Alan Good points but the Liberal Democrat’s can’t be trusted and I suspect would be acceptable to most unionists in Scotland which is all the excuse they need . If they were to get into power I think it would be a huge step back for Scotland I really do and dangerous for the future. They are a nasty party and at least the Tories are in your face but the Liberals they are sneaky and deceitful. They may well improve their place in England but I’m not sure that helps independence at all.
