Something Different: Embrace ‘ The Good Will Out ‘

Embrace are an English rock band formed around 1990 by brothers David and Richard McNamara. They have released 7 albums to date but the first album I heard was:

The Good Will Out (1998)

I was listening to the album yesterday, the first time in a few months and it really is a good album. The album is strong throughout and not really a bad song on the album to be fair. The songs I love are All You Good People, Come Back To What You Know and One Big Family. But the other tracks such as My Weakness Is None Of Your Business, That’s All Changed Forever, Higher Sights, Retreat,  I Want The World, Fireworks, The Last Gas, Now You’re Nobody, You’ve Got To Say Yes, and The Good Will Out are all very good songs.

Their other albums are a bit of a mixed bag for me but still with a lot of highlights, however the debut album remains by far my favourite. They are a decent band and if you haven’t listened to them then worth a go. I have never seen them live but if I got the chance to I would.
