I wondered how the Tully as we know it in Dundee would report the incredible 16,000 people who marched for Scottish independence with All Under One Banner at the weekend in Dundee. I was able to see some of the march (sadly could not do the whole march) and it was a visual delight and uplifting in so many ways. Everyone who took part should be very proud. So tonight I went out and bought the local rag, not expecting much from the unionist Thomson publication and I was not surprised, the march barely merited a quarter of a page as you can see below.
Now the Kilt Walk took place yesterday, a good cause in every way, 3000 people took part to raise money for children in Scotland. A just cause indeed and worthy of a mention in the paper, however it got a slightly different mention than the march with 16,000 people taking part.
I know we all know how it works with unionist papers, 3000 is greater than 16,000 every day. Some things just never change at all, but who cares at the end of the day the fight goes on and we will win in the end.
