I always have a major sign when I read headlines and articles like the one below.
Those same businesses, or those on the no side, who campaigned to keep Scotland in this shitty dead union are now moaning that growth is crap in Scotland. They sight low consumer spending as one of the reasons. As my Dad used to say if you don’t have a job you have no money, if you have no money you can’t buy things, if you can’t buy things then nothing gets made, if nothing gets made you have nothing but poverty and misery basically.
Of course the Red Tories represented by Jackie useless Baillie states that : “The SNP has held back Scotland’s economy for more than ten years, doing nothing but tinker around the edges.” going for the SNP bad quote as we have learned to expect. I’m just surprised she never threw in the vacuous Corbyn Jobs First Brexit bullshit.
Tory spokesman Dean Lockhart said: “With a punishing tax regime and an SNP government which does nothing to help business, it’s no wonder firms in Scotland are less optimistic about the future.” Obviously bereft of any relationship with reality. We know that 85% of Scottish tax payers pay less or the same and the 15% who pay more , around £400, pay less in Council Tax, free prescriptions at the point of need and others so the claim by the Tories is pretty much bullshit.
The simple reality is as long as Scotland is chained to the U.K. with virtually no way of making real economic change then things will get worse not better. I have no sympathy for the owners of these companies or the shareholders but I do the people at the bottom who are always the ones who really suffer. We know the people at the top are protected by the Tories of all colours in areas like pensions and golden handshakes.
If they want to improve Scotland’s economy then campaign for independence, it’s not rocket science.

I just have zero sympathy for them. The Tories and Westminster are totally at fault for this and if they are not willing to recognise this they should go do one.

usual scotunionist party pish vote to give scotland all the soft powers but vote against any meaningful powers which could benefit scotland like control over economy. what happens the tax powers no detriment to uk john swinnie fought it but they just kicked it down the road till the next ge we have had an early election does that mean the uk can take what ever the scottish government raises in tax and take it out of barnet no detriment to uk?

Totally, these kind of things really annoy me no end. They had their chance to make real lasting change in Scotland. A chance to build a modern business ethical/friendly Scotland and they chose servitude to the posh, I have no sympathy for them at all in any shape or form.

Anytime the figures are released or they want to kick the SNP or Scotland out comes this normal bag of crap . Nothing changes and nothing well until we decided to do a Brexit and take our country back , simple as that. Then we can kick this bias bunch of non entities that is Sotland’s media into touch with new tougher regulations and guidelines that they obviously need .
Is it me or the more media courses at uni/college , the worse the media gets ?

It is predictable but it gets boring very fast and still too many people fall for this too wee, too poor, too stupid crap. I suppose all we can do is keep battling away and hope that some of what all the bloggers, WoS, IScot, Referendum 2018 etc are trying to get out there gets through to someone. It is depressing though at times.
