Not Representing Scotland

So the vote on Clause 10 of the Finance Bill was defeated, now there is a surprise.

If passed this would have instructed the Chancellor of the Exchequer to look at the issue of a retrospective refund of VAT to PoliceScotland and the Fire Service.

Looking at the numbers it looks like Scottish Conservative MPs represented England well tonight.

Our emergency services never catch a break . They risk their lives and get shafted daily , I wonder those who vote for British National parties in the emergency services , will continue to do so

I watched some of the debate tonight as I had a little spare time as I am setting up a laptop and it was pretty poor stuff. About 20 MPs in the Chamber but 600+ still manage to vote, what kind of democracy is that. We are so poorly represented and I am so sick of it. The money was never going to be refunded but that’s not really the point. The fact is Scottish Tory MPs are England’s representatives in Scotland.
