The Windsor’s are at it

So the Windsor’s, our so called powerless head of state family, have been caught hiding their money.

The leaking of the so called Paradise Papers show that Elizabeth Windsor, who costs us millions every year, hides millions of her money in the Caymen Islands, it’s called investments though, and even holds shares in that charitable business for the poor Brighthouse. We even had William Windsor lecturing us on how there are too many people in the world, as his wife is taking time off from doing nothing as she is expecting their third child. Of course what he really meant was that there are too many poor people in the world.

How much longer do we put up with this farce.

Bruce – I think it more than probable she didn’t know. That’s not the point here. As the Head Of State, she should have made it her business to ensure her investements were beyond reproach. That she didn’t get these reassurances suggests self serving insensitivity.
“For me the teachings of Christ and my own personal accountability before God provide a framework in which I try to lead my life.” thus spoke the queen. Unbelievably hypocritical.
Too many royals in the world !

Some people are saying she did know and some that she didn’t. I don’t agree with the whole Windsor thing on lots of different levels from democracy to reinforcing the class society based on social groupings. There will always be a class system, but we need to ensure that it is not undemocratic but all of these people caught out this time should be ashamed of themselves, and as you say the hypocrisy is unreal and shameful. I am really sick of all this crap now, from this to expenses to sexual harassment. Hopefully it takes us a step closer to independence.

It was said (written) at the time of Barings Bank and Nick Leeson that the Queen had lost £800 million in that overseas bank alone, and now she has only £10 million off-shore. Or to put it another way, how come there was a banking crash with her billions deposited in Britain?

Fair point, if you have nothing to hide and are not avoiding tax then why not just deposit your money here. If it’s investments I question if investing in Bright House is appropriate for the so called head of state of the UK. The whole thing stinks a bit though and I def feel like we are all being taken for a ride.
