So the invisible woman, Prime Minister Theresa May, has released the posh parties Manifesto. Tris over at Munquins New Repulic posted the pic below.
Not to be outdone by Thatcher Thatcher the milk snatcher Mayhem plans on stealing food from the mouths of infants to provide breakfast clubs that few will attend.
Winter payments are to be means tested which will result in a substantial drop in uptake as we know that older people hate means testing and opt out. Older people will have to pay more for social care while the Tories cut corporation tax, yip a Tory policy in all its glory.
Immigration is to be cut to only those deemed worthy, that means have money. There will be more free schools in England, oh the joy as a lot of the ones so far have closed and cost a fortune. Looks like tax is going up and the deficit will be eradicated, until the next election where they will eradicate it again.
Allegedly there will be more for education and health which might effect Scotland but you never know. Not a lot for Scotland though other than:
A referendum on Scottish independence will only be allowed to take place after Brexit has “played out” and should not take place “unless there is public consent for it to happen”.
Someone needs to remind Mayhem that has already been decided, it will happen whatever you say, in fact we don’t care what you say.
Foxes beware , the Tories and the Windsors are coming for you but will tire you, scare you half to death , set the dogs on you first before they kill you. A bit like benefit sanctions.
The 40p rate of tax band will increase, there’s a f surprise. VAT won’t be increased until the next parliament, then it will go up as there will be no EU to dictate some safe guards.
From what I can see this is a manifesto that will make most of us poorer, another surprise, corporations and the rich will be fine. Not surprised by this manifesto at all, don’t believe much it of other than things like stealing food from babies mouths, putting taxes up and taking old people’s houses, as the Tories break most pledges and the ignorant, racists, posh and selfish will vote for it.
We have got to get out of this shithole of a country.
As expected, an appalling manifesto from the Tories. Hopefully, they’ve taken the grey vote for granted and will lose votes because of the Dementia Tax and Winter Fuel Payments cuts. No wonder May refuses to take questions from the public; many of them would rip her to shreds following this manifesto launch.
They’re certainly unspeakable but I hope the SNP eats them for breakfast next month.

I saw the Fallon interview on Newsnight where he was forced to admit that none of it was costed then went on a rant about the Labour one that was costed. He also tried to lie a couple of times, and unlike Scottish media, the presenter actually went after him and got him to admit he was being a bit untruthful. Nothing in it for most of us and it will be interesting to see how older people react and the voters who no longer stand to inherit their parents houses as they will used to pay off social care bills. The Tories will win but maybe not by as much as they think the way things are going. I just read the summary as there were few real facts in it like the Lib Dem one. The Labour one is the best so far and it will be interesting to see the SNP and Green ones.

It’s a grim future. May needs to realise though, that you deny people democracy at your peril.
The Greens and theSNP had it in their manifesto for OUR general election that there would be a further referendum if we were taken out of the EU against our will. Between them, they won most seats in the parliament, on these promises.
How dare she say that she won’t allow a referendum.
It’s a very foolish and dangerous thing to deny democracy, especially when you bang on abut a disastrous Brexit based on a referendum won on a pack of lies, by only 52-48… Brexit means Brexit, because 52% of the English people voted for it.
I REALLY dislike her.

It is either way but who will it be grimmest for, other than the foxes who are pretty f to be fair. The Scottish question is an interesting one and that could backfire big time if people actually wake up and think about what they are saying or not saying. If it’s a flat refusal to hold one on some bullshit excuse then Holyrood should hold one anyway. Of course Dugdale and Rennie will go postal but who cares anymore, they just don’t matter. I agree with you, she is worse than Thatcher and this avoiding the media but having their keyboard warriors out last night is a joke, seemingly NS didn’t mention independence in the debate yet they were tweeting that was all she went on about because they know that most people wouldn’t have seen it due to working every hour God sends or no electricity to power the TV. They are a bunch of really shitty people and the masses better waken up soon, they are the real UKip and the real May is there in all her glory. She has played the long game very well indeed, total bitch.

One thing missing from the above is the introduction of requiring ID cards to vote. It’s tucked into that wee paragraph after the one where they mention they’d repeal the Fixed Term Parliaments Act.
“We will legislate to ensure that a form of identification must be presented before voting, to reform postal voting and to improve other aspects of the elections process to ensure that our elections are the most secure in the world.”
Could be as simple as presenting a voting registration card. Could be as complex and expensive as a new national ID card which each of us has to cough up £50-70 personally for.

I never saw that one, another method to discourage people to vote or a back door ID card. We are fast becoming a Police State in this country with the rise in populist right wing parties.
