Something Different: The Dolphin Brothers

Another music focussed something different this weekend. The Dolphin Brothers are composed of Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri, former members of the group Japan. They released on album called Catch the Fall in 1987 and it is up there as one of my favourite albums of all time.

It is a very strong album with no real disappointing songs at all. The stands outs are Love that you need, My Winter and Host to the Holy. Japan are also one of my favourite bands having been really introduced to them by old friends Stuart and Ian, I do remember feeling a bit jealous when Stuart got the CD version of the Catch the Fall album, envy is a bad thing but it sounded so good when it was played. Great album, check it out.
