Something Different: An Inward Revolution

One of my favourite albums of all time is An Inward Revolution by The Big Sound Authority.

The band were formed in 1983 in London and for a while were being coached by Paul Weller. They were offered a record deal by Weller but decided to sign with MCA Records and had a big hit with This House (Is Where Your Love Stands) a brilliant song and the first time I heard the band.

They were led by Tony Burke and Julie Hadwen but sadly the band made just one album. There is not a bad song on the album, I got really excited earlier this year when I came across a double cd version with previously unreleased songs, bought and love it.

If you haven’t listened to the band you should, they were amazing. I wish they had done more albums.
